Passion for baking

Have you ever looked at a something you've worked very hard on, and been proud of yourself because of the outcome? This is how I feel whenever I put the last topping on one of my baked goods. Whenever I'm in the kitchen baking, I come up with multiple ideas for my toppings, some simple and some more extravagant, but neverthless both giving me that feeling of satisfaction I crave in the end.  One of the things I enjoy most about baking is being able to show your creative side, you're able put any idea you have in your head and make it come to life through your finished product. Seeing a cupcake you've created with multiple colors, or various toppings gives you a little sense of accomplishment because you know the steps it took in order for it to be completed. Another thing I enjoy about baking is the gratification on the faces of those eating it. Being told not only how good it tastes but how cool it looks just keeps me going and striving to make them as good as I possibly can. Despite the fact that I have room for improvement, I know that in order to reach my full potential I have to continue to work to be where I'd like to be. Seeing the progress I've made only motivates me that much more and eventually I will be content with where I am.
