(Future) Police Officer Rojas

To me law enforcement is a very awesome career. This is something that I love to do and learn more about then over anything else in this world.  I guess you can call this my passion, one of the many things I do to get more involved with my career and the community is the Explorer program. The thing that I just find fascinating about this program is being at the police station with all these great police officers who are very professional and are a great role models for any person trying to get into law enforcement. They teach us various things like penal codes, ways to arrest, how to handle a call when dispatched to the crime and much more valuable information that not just anyone can do by walking into the police station. I know that with this program it gets me one step closer to my future career and I'm proud to say that the Gardena Police Explorer program is the best in South bay area and I believe in all California as. The one main thing I love about all this are the ride alongs, nothing is better than being in the passenger seat next to an officer driving around in that black and white car. I actually don't even mind doing all this volunteer work without getting paid the feeling of just being there with police officers and other Explorers who i know want to be cops too is like no other.
