MY PASSION Date: 11-06-13 I play football because I just simply love the sport. I love the smell of the fresh grass every time I step in the field. Once I get in the lockers my civilian clothes go off and my uniform follow with my football gear goes on. It just excites me knowing that I have a game, and knowing that I’m going to get some tackles. I love playing as a lineman because it’s one of the hardest positions. I love the challenge this position brings me. For example you have to block and drop players that weight up to 300 pounds, and in order to do that you have to be physically and mentally strong. Football is like life, it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority.
