Calvin and Hobbes

As a child before I went to bed I would always want to read a book. My Brother introduced me to the comic strip books Calvin and Hobbes. This book is good in so many ways. The best part of the book were the pictures. I love book with pictures in them. I couldn't stop laughing at the things the book had in it. The jokes were funny. I was really never interested in reading in general. This book changed my life because it made reading fun. It wasn't as boring as I thought it was.

 I wasn't able to go to sleep not knowing that I haven't read at least on comic strip from the book. It made learning how to read easy. The more I read the more I started learning new words and how to use them even though it was a comic book. I learned the more you read no matter what you read you will eventually build your vocabulary knowledge up.
